Sharing of your information
We may otherwise share your personal information under the following circumstances:
- With your consent: We may share your information with third parties when you give your consent. You can always withdraw a consent. This does not affect the lawfulness of our use of your information before you withdrew the consent.
- With service providers: We may share your information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, maintenance and support for our app. This is not a disclosure of personal data in the legal sense.
- For legal reasons: We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid requests from public authorities (e.g. the police, a court or a regulatory authority).

Terms of useCode of conduct for Hudd
Hudd is a social platform that is meant to be safe, respectful and pleasant for all users
We expect users to behave with ordinary good manners and in accordance with applicable law.
Breaches of these rules of conduct may result in moderation measures, including deletion of posts or comments, temporary suspension or permanent closure of a user account. Matters that may constitute criminal offences may be reported to the police.
If content is repeatedly reported by other users, Hudd may review and assess the content. Where there is a high number of reports, content may be removed from the platform without notice.
We encourage all users to help create a safe and positive environment on the platform. If you come across content or behaviour that breaches these rules, we ask you to report it via the reporting function on the platform or by contacting us at [email protected].
Public and private content
These rules of conduct distinguish between public and private content. Certain rules apply in particular to public posting — for example, sharing sensitive information about other people or re-sharing others' content without consent.
Public content. Under these rules of conduct, posts are considered public if they are visible to the neighbourhood, the country or globally, as well as in public groups. Private messages and entirely private groups with a limited number of members are regarded as private communication.
Note that unlawful content, or use of the platform for criminal activity, is not permitted, regardless of whether it is shared publicly or privately.
Criminal acts
Hudd may not be used to commit, facilitate or incite criminal acts.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- hate speech or discriminatory expressions that are unlawful under the Penal Code
- threats, harassment or incitement to violence
- fraud or deception
- pyramid schemes or unlawful investment schemes
- unlawful marketing or sale of goods and services, including alcohol or other regulated products in breach of applicable regulations
- sharing or sale of illegal goods or services
- incitement to, or organization of, unlawful acts
- sharing material that infringes copyright or other rights
- identity theft or attempts to impersonate others
- unlawful collection or sharing of personal data
Criminal expressions or other unlawful activity will not be tolerated. In the event of serious breaches, user accounts may be closed without warning, and the matter may be reported to the police.
Violent or frightening content
Content containing violence, serious injury, graphic events or other strongly disturbing material should not be posted publicly on the platform.
Although such content is not necessarily unlawful, it may be distressing or unsettling for other users. We therefore ask users to exercise particular caution when sharing images, video or descriptions of violence, accidents, deaths or other serious events.
Hudd may remove or limit the visibility of content assessed as unnecessarily violent, graphic or frightening, especially where it is shared without a clear informational purpose or context.
Rights to content
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to the content you publish on Hudd. Publishing that infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights is not permitted.
Be aware that content on the internet can easily be copied or screenshotted. Do not share others' content publicly without consent from the rights holder, and please cite the source where relevant.
Privacy and publishing information about others
Publishing images, video or information about other people normally requires the consent of the person concerned. Be cautious about what information you share about others.
If we are made aware of the public posting of sensitive information, personal data, or content that singles out individuals, such content may be removed without warning to protect third parties.
When publishing images or information about children under 18, a parent or guardian must be informed and have given their consent.
Offensive and harmful content
The following types of content are not permitted on Hudd:
- violent or threatening content
- frightening or harassing behaviour
- discriminatory or demeaning expressions
- hateful expressions or incitement to harm against persons or groups
Sexual content
Sexually explicit content and nudity may not be posted publicly on the platform. This also applies to sexually explicit language in text or comments.
Examples of content that is normally not permitted to be posted publicly include:
- images or video with clear nudity or sexual situations
- sexually suggestive images or videos primarily intended to be sexually arousing
- sexually charged descriptions or comments directed at other users
Spam and repeated posting
Posting repeated or identical content at high frequency is not permitted on the platform. This applies in particular to spam, mass posting, or the coordinated spread of undocumented or misleading claims.
In the event of such breaches, we may issue a warning, delete content or restrict the account. Repeated breaches may lead to temporary or permanent suspension.
Fake groups and misleading representation
Creating or administering groups that purport to represent persons, businesses, organizations or other entities without their express permission is not permitted.
This includes fake or misleading groups that give the impression of affiliation with a person or organization, including where this concerns actors from other social platforms.
Group rules and moderation
Groups on Hudd are administered by the group administrators. The administrators decide how the group is moderated and may remove content considered irrelevant or in breach of the group's rules.
Many groups have their own group rules. These must be respected by the group's members.
Even where a group is moderated by its administrators, Hudd may still intervene and remove content or users that breach the platform's rules of conduct.
Advertising and commercial activity
Sending unsolicited advertising or spam via private messages or in comments is not permitted.
Only businesses and organizations with a paid organization account are permitted to publish commercial content on the platform. Ordinary user accounts may not promote products or services in public posts or comments.
Repeated or intrusive promotion without the correct account type or the recipient's consent may lead to moderation measures, including deletion of content and suspension.
It is permitted to invite others to join a group or follow an organization page from your own profile, as long as this is not done in a way that feels like spam. If such invitations are posted in a group, it is the group administrators who decide whether the content should be removed.
Deceased users
If a registered user has passed away, we can assist with deletion of the account. In such cases, we ask the closest next of kin, who can document the relationship, to contact us at [email protected].
Guidelines for organization profiles on Hudd
All organization profiles on Hudd are subject to the platform's general rules of conduct and terms of use. This means that organizations must act respectfully, contribute to a safe community and comply with the same guidelines that apply to all users.
Hudd facilitates distribution but cannot guarantee results related to clicks, purchases or conversions. Hudd disclaims any liability for indirect losses, consequential damages or financial consequences that may arise in that connection.
All organizations that create a profile must be registered as a business in the Brønnøysund Register Centre with a valid organization number.
Organizations are themselves responsible for ensuring that the content they publish complies with Norwegian law. This includes, among others, the Marketing Control Act, the Alcohol Act, the Tobacco Control Act, the Gambling Act, the Personal Data Act and the E-commerce Act. Content that breaches these laws will be removed, and serious breaches may lead to suspension.
Advertising for alcohol, tobacco, e-cigarettes, gambling, unauthorised medicines and MLM (multi-level marketing) schemes or the like is not permitted on Hudd. Content must also not be offensive, discriminatory, misleading, or designed to create fear or discomfort among users.
Content must be published at a reasonable frequency. We support activity, but in moderation. Mass advertising and excessive repetition are not permitted.
Organizations must themselves ensure that they have the necessary rights to all content they publish. Misuse of personal data, images or video is not permitted.
An organization profile must represent the business as it actually is. The official name and logo must be used, and the profile should include a clear description, contact information and other essential information. Misleading representation is not permitted.
Organizations may not engage in unwanted marketing and advertising in groups, comment sections or through private messages. All communication must be consent-based. Unsolicited contact with users is not permitted.
Hudd wants users to have a positive experience with organization profiles. Build closeness with the local community, and help create a good place for building relationships and dialogue. Do not use the profile solely for advertising.
Hudd reserves the right to amend these guidelines as needed, and it is the organizations' responsibility to stay up to date on the applicable terms and regulations at all times. In the event of a breach of the guidelines, Hudd may, in line with the platform's general terms, restrict or suspend organization profiles. Content assessed as inappropriate or harmful to the community may be removed without prior notice.
